TouchSpinning

TouchSpinning is a nascent technique for cold drawing fibers on the nanometer scale.  Originally developed at University of Georgia.  TouchSpinning (TS) has the advantage of producing electrospun like fibers without the denaturing effects of high voltage formation.  This is particularly important when dealing with biomolecules.  In addition the device has the capability to provide a space ordered array of fibers aligned along the X-axis.
Current research efforts revolve around medical applications, water filtration and high strength nanofibers for energy applications.  This is a nascent technology in the early stage of development.  Would you like to join in?  Give us a call.
